HISTORY
 
Established in 1976 as Sceptre Philippines by Mr. Alberto Lina as a company pioneering in the local freight forwarding business, U-Freight Philippines, Incorporated has since developed into a full service logistics company, offering an array of services.

The year 1977 marked U-Freight Philippines, Incorporated leap to a macro level through its registration to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration did not only allow better access to other institutions in the business, but also paved the way for U-Freight's introduction of products in the global corporate level.

In year’s time, U-Freight has matured to become a company pioneering in logistics services and has consistently been receiving awards from its major carriers like Philippine Airlines, Japan Airlines, United Airlines, Korean Air and Lufthansa.

Furthermore, its transfer to Cargohaus Building in April 1992 prepared U-Freight to a more customer-friendly product through its 11,000 sqm. Customs-bonded warehouse.

Its certification to ISO 9002 in August 1996 strengthened U-Freight's initiative to render quality tools through Air Freight Systems Architecture (AFSA); and quality manpower through continuous education of its people through seminars and trainings.
